UAE updates visit visa fees for Pakistani nationals

The UAE has introduced new visit visa fees for Pakistani nationals, effective immediately, to streamline entry procedures for tourists and visitors.

Starting June 2024, the cost of a 30-day tourist visa will be AED 200, while a 60-day visa will be priced at AED 300, both subject to an additional 5% value-added tax (VAT).

Here’s the exciting breakdown:

  • 30-day Tourist Visa: Starting at just AED 200 (around PKR 8,000)
  • 60-day Tourist Visa: Starting at AED 300 (around PKR 12,000)

Don’t forget the extras! There’s a small additional charge of 5% VAT (Value Added Tax) on top of the visa fees.

Already in the UAE? If you’re currently in the UAE and looking to extend your stay or switch your visa type, there are some additional processing fees to consider. You’ll need to pay AED 20 for Knowledge and Innovation Dirham fees and an in-country processing fee of AED 500.

What do you need to apply?

The application process is designed to be smooth and straightforward. Here’s what you’ll need to gather:

  • A recent passport-sized photo
  • A copy of your valid Pakistani passport
  • Your National Identity Card (if applicable)
  • Valid medical insurance covering your stay in the UAE
  • Proof of your onward or return flight ticket

Ready to apply? You can submit your application electronically through the GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs) website or their user-friendly mobile app.
