Sharjah education fair welcomes more Pakistani universities

The upcoming International Education Show (IES) 2024 is set to see a bigger and better presence from Pakistani universities and colleges. This exciting development comes after Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) signed a collaboration agreement with Education Scenario International, a highly respected educational consultancy firm based in Pakistan.

The agreement, signed by ECS CEO Saif Mohammed Al Midfa and Prof. Dr. Rizwan Ashraf, Advisor to Education Scenario International, aims to streamline participation for Pakistani educational institutions in IES 2024. This will open doors for students and parents in Pakistan to explore a wider range of educational opportunities under one roof.

The IES is a renowned platform organized by Expo Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). It brings together educational institutions and professionals to connect directly with students and parents. The show attracts thousands of visitors every year, showcasing a vast array of educational programs and services from institutions within and outside the UAE.

“This agreement aligns perfectly with Expo Sharjah’s strategy to build strong international partnerships,” said Mr. Al Midfa. “We are committed to expanding our events and attracting a wider range of participants to our specialized exhibitions, including educational shows.”

Highlighting Sharjah’s position as a leading exhibition destination, Mr. Al Midfa pointed out that the last edition of IES saw participation from around 100 universities and educational institutions worldwide. This year, the focus is on attracting even more institutions from Pakistan.

The expansion into the Pakistani market aims to create a valuable platform for students and parents. By bringing academic institutions together, the IES allows students to explore a diverse range of educational programs and scholarships tailored to their preferences. The event also provides insights into admission requirements at top universities and explores the most in-demand specializations in the job market.

Prof. Dr. Rizwan Ashraf, representing Education Scenario International, expressed his confidence in the agreement’s potential. “Our vast experience in educational consulting and marketing within Pakistan makes us well-positioned to effectively promote the IES,” he said. “We are confident that this collaboration will attract a significant number of Pakistani educational institutions, solidifying the IES as a premier platform for fostering communication and collaboration across the region.”
