Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan has intensified his diplomatic efforts by engaging in a significant phone call with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The conversation, which coincided with Eid-ul-Adha greetings, was marked by warm exchanges of wishes and prayers for the prosperity of both nations.
During their discussion, Prime Minister Sharif expressed gratitude for the UAE’s steadfast support towards Pakistan and reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering backing for the UAE in return. He also highlighted his recent visit to the UAE, emphasizing the importance of regular high-level exchanges between the two countries.
Sharif extended a cordial invitation to President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit Pakistan, which was promptly accepted. Both leaders expressed their commitment to enhancing bilateral relations through increased communication and cooperation across various sectors.
The Prime Minister underscored Pakistan’s keen interest in strengthening the fraternal ties with the UAE, aiming to transform them into a durable and mutually beneficial strategic partnership, particularly focusing on trade and investment.
President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan agreed to undertake an official visit to Pakistan in the near future, further solidifying the bonds between the two nations. The leaders concluded their conversation on a positive note, affirming their shared determination to bolster Pakistan-UAE relations for the benefit of their people.
