His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued a decree to establish regulations for the Al Dhaid University, solidifying its role as a leading academic institution in the emirate.
The decree underscores the university’s mission to foster academic excellence grounded in Islamic values, Arab heritage, and scientific progress. It highlights the institution’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped with the skills and knowledge to contribute to the nation’s development plans.

The decree grants the university financial and administrative independence while emphasizing its responsibility to uphold state laws and regulations. It also delegates management duties to a Board of Trustees, the university’s director, and the Council of Deans.
Furthermore, the decree grants the university the authority to confer degrees and certificates, ensuring the recognition of academic achievements. It also allows for the use of Arabic and English as the primary languages of instruction, with flexibility for other languages depending on program requirements.
