Bodour Al Qasimi elevates Najla Al Midfa to vice-chair of Sheraa

Sheikha Bodour bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), has announced significant leadership changes within the organization.

Najla Al Midfa, the current CEO, has been promoted to Vice-Chairperson of Sheraa, while Sara Al Nuaimi has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Commenting on the changes, Sheikha Bodour praised Najla Al Midfa’s exceptional leadership as CEO, which propelled Sheraa to remarkable success. Al Midfa’s promotion to Vice-Chairperson reflects her achievements and commitment to fostering entrepreneurship in Sharjah.

Sheikha Bodour introduced Sara Al Nuaimi as the incoming CEO, highlighting her impressive track record across various industries and her dedication to driving impactful initiatives. She expressed confidence in Al Nuaimi’s innovative mindset and dynamic leadership style to lead Sheraa into a new era of growth.

Established in January 2016 in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Sheraa aims to develop a world-class entrepreneurship ecosystem in Sharjah and nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Sheraa has upskilled over 18,000 aspiring entrepreneurs and incubated over 180 impactful ventures, raising over $171 million in investments to date. With a portfolio boasting a 71% survival rate and eight successful startup exits, Sheraa has solidified its position as a key player in the entrepreneurship landscape.

Sheikha Bodour expressed optimism about Sheraa’s future, stating that with the strengthened leadership team, they aim to reinforce Sheraa’s role as a leading platform for entrepreneurs and enhance Sharjah’s reputation as a hub of creativity, knowledge, and innovation.
