A sigh of relief as His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the esteemed Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) to undertake a remarkable initiative.
The directive entails the partial cutting down of a mountain in the Al Harai area of Khor Fakkan. The purpose? To facilitate the construction of homes for residents residing opposite the mountain, shielding them from the potential hazards posed by rainwater.
This plea was made by a caller during the “Direct Line” program aired on the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority. Mohammed Khalaf, the intermediary for this heartfelt appeal, conveyed the concerns of the community, emphasising the urgency of the situation.
Responding promptly to the call for action, His Highness exemplified his commitment to the welfare of his people.
Moreover, Sheikh Sultan sanctioned the construction of a thousand housing units within the Al Qutaina 3 and Al Shanof 4 complexes.
These homes, slated for completion within the next two years, stand as a testament to Sheikh Sultan’s unwavering resolve to provide shelter and security to the deserving residents of Sharjah.
Additionally, he personally intervened to resolve a dispute faced by another female caller with a federal entity, reassuring her of a swift resolution.
The Sharjah Department of Housing, in alignment with Sheikh Sultan’s directives, is set to communicate with beneficiaries through text messages throughout the week, ensuring transparency and inclusivity in the allocation process.
Sheikh Sultan has also sanctioned the allocation of 50 government housing units in the Al Qutaina 1 residential complex in Mahdub suburb.
These homes are set for completion within a year, will provide much-needed relief to deserving citizens.
Furthermore, Sheikh Sultan instructed the department to address the grievances of defaulters in housing projects promptly, exemplifying his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people.
